Incredible! After several experts at WE FIX MACS in Palo Alto tried and
failed, I was told that I had suffered a major "head" crash and could do
nothing about it. Then, after spending several more hours with Apple CPU
experts in Palo Alto at the University Ave - Mac/Apple repair service desk,
and after they ran hours of Disk Warrior and many other hard drive recovery
programs and after being told that your product couldn't and wouldn't really
help because the hardware had failed beyond software help, and after being
told it was impossible unless I went to a full data recovery service company
and a clean room situation for $1500 to $2Kby the experts, I downloaded on
my own and on my "backup" system your Data Rescue X software in a final
effort and in hopes of recovering just one of the hundreds of critical
recent (unbacked up) project files I needed from my unmounted, unrecognized,
crashed and "buzzing" HD.
To my amazement, after the fast simple install and 20 minutes reading the
pdf help menu, in less then 3 hours I had recovered almost every single
important file I had on my 80 gig drive running only the FAST SCAN mode.
After the first hour I could see every critcal file in my system and could
pick and choose which ones to recover. Although serval were damaged beyond
repair most of the thousands of files were recovered. Easy to use and learn,
I was able to save everything critical to my work.
Thanks for a wonderful and affordable solution to an impossible problem.
More then worth the money I paid. I wish I had used it 6 months ago when my
other HD drive crashed and went south (and was replaced and sent to hardware
graveyard forever). Perhaps I would have saved many of those critical files
as well, but the same experts informed me then, it was not possible with any
"off the shelf software poduct". They were wrong. Thank you for your free
demo download that convinced me to give it try. It worked and now I'm back
