Data Rescue will save the day.

id Music is a commercial music production house located in Chicago. Our clients are Ad agencies and record labels. We were working on an album project for a band with record label interest and had recorded several songs in typical multitrack form. This means that each song being 4 to 5 minutes in length had about 20 tracks of live recorded instruments. We also record in hi-definition audio, so these audio files were quite large, and were not only expensive to create, but would be almost impossible to re-create performance wise. Somehow one of our Cheetah SCSI Audio drives glitched, perhaps due to a faulty internal SCSI cable, and the result was massive data loss in numerous projects on that drive. We ran drive repair utilities which found some orphaned and lost files but not nearly enough to save any of the projects. After talking with Apple Tech support, and being assured that all the data was indeed lost, I began to research Data Recovery options. I knew that the data was still on the drive, but it could not be read by the OS. Other recovery options included sending the drive in for expensive recovery attempts and down time, or software that finds the data and then networks you to the maker and charges by the meg of recovered data. This too would have been much too expensive given the size and amount of lost files. Fortunately I came across DATA RESCUE. I tried the free download, which found a huge number of lost audio files right away. I immediately purchased the copy and was given the serial # for immediate authorization. In a matter of minutes I had recovered my projects! There was file damage to some of the data, which Data rescue told me about. Data Rescue definitely saved the day. I am in awe of this fantastic software. Every audio, video and post house needs to have it. I hope this never happens again, but if it does, at least I know that there is a strong chance that Data Rescue will save the day.

Thanks
